Information for Beginners
No special equipment or clothing is necessary for Tai Chi, just wear loose comfortable clothing and flat shoes or trainers. You may want to bring a bottle of water. If it’s your first time practising Tai Chi, don’t worry you will be made very welcome at any of the classes or seminars. In most classes you will be standing, but if that’s a problem you can attend adapted classes with seated or standing options.

It’s normal to feel a little nervous or apprehensive when attending your first class, but don’t worry you will soon relax and enjoy learning the exercises and movements.
